Online Training
A week after giving birth to our beautiful boy, Nico, I was ready to workout and lose the 35lb I had gained during my pregnancy. I thought I could just workout how I used to. Oh boy I was in for a suprise. I soon found out that sleep deprivation and lack of motivation were a deadly combination for my fitness goals. Tiredness, lack of motivation, and the desire to lose the extra weight were the reasons for me to think of a new way to get my workouts done fast and with results. Five months after Nico's birth I had lost all the extra weight and gained my strength back. After seeing the great results I have had I decided to model a new program on my training routines and to make it available online to all the people who have contacted me and I'm not able to train one on one. The program is only $30 for four weeks and can be done at home with minimal equipment or at the gym. Plus is designed to meet your goals, your physical abilities, and your equipment availability. I have recently completed an on-line exercise program with Stefania as my personal trainer. I very much enjoyed the experience and am continuing to use the program although I no longer have the daily contact with Stef. I am certainly stronger and feel more fit as a result of regularly working out. At my request, Stef designed a program for me using equipment that I currently own, ex. treadmill, free weights, exercise ball. The exercises were easy to understand but when I had questions, Stef was quick to explain or suggest an alternative exercise when I was finding one too difficult. I chose a 6 day program which works well for me since the daily time commitment is limited. On those occasions when I miss a day, it is easy to combine sessions and still complete my exercises for the week. Stef is knowledgeable about her work and offers a complete training program. I didn’t use the food component since I felt I already had a program I could follow to lose weight. Stef did provide me with articles to read concerning nutrition, which were interesting. I found my on-line training program with Stef to be a very positive experience. Even though I live in Ontario, Canada and she is in Florida, USA, it seemed we were closely connected. When exercising alone, I find it is easy to procrastinate but I could hear Stef’s voice encouraging me and knowing that she would be checking each day, helped me build an exercise habit. Yes, I was very skeptical. I didn't think I would be motivated and I didn't think I would be able to accomplish a significant level of fitness on my own. I had this image in my head that a trainer should be right there beside you to monitor your progression. However, once I started and noticed the difference I was hooked. One of my favorite things is the soreness I feel the next day after working each muscle group. To me that soreness is an indication that I am working hard enough to make a change in my body. Sarah G. We met Stef when we came from Ottawa Canada to Panama City Beach for the winter. We hired her to show us how to use the exercise equipment in the gym at our apartment building. She designed a routine for us to use in the gym while we were there. She then also designed a routine that we can use when traveling, at home and at our cottage. The neat thing about this travel routine is that it only requires stretchy bands which are very easily transportable. She took into account our health, age, current fitness and goals to ensure a safe but challenging routine. Stef is great to keep in touch by email and the support is essential to keep us on track.. When I met Stef I had tried everything, even an unsuccessful boot camp that guaranteed results, but nothing had worked. I found Stef because I wanted to lose weight and get in shape. I definitely came to the right person. I looked online and found several personal trainers in the area, but they were all very expensive and I couldn’t afford to have more than only a few sessions with them, so I kept shopping. I found Stef’s website and her prices were reasonable, she had a good training background and a lot of positive feedback from her clients, so I contacted her. Unfortunately, she lived very far away from me and I didn’t have the time to drive an hour both ways for training sessions. However, luck would have it that she was looking to start a web-based personal training program and asked if I wanted to be her “guinea pig”. Of course, I was all for it. We started my program soon after and I’ve been training with her ever since. I was fully prepared when starting the program to have to eat rabbit food and soy products; and in minimal amounts, at that. I was mentally gearing up to having to kill myself in the gym for hours at a time, but knew it would be worth it. So I have to say that I was somewhat skeptical when I was only required to do 11 minutes of cardio in my 45 minutes I was to spend at the gym each day and that I could eat the same foods that I’d been eating, plus get a cheat day. Furthermore, Stef told me that I actually wasn’t eating enough. I made myself look past my skepticism, acknowledging that she was the trainer and most probably knew more than I did about exercise and eating. Stef provided me with a spreadsheet, complete with my weight training and cardio workouts and hyperlinks that would take me to a website that explained exactly how to do them. She checks up on me several times a week to see how I’m doing and get my thoughts on the training program she’s given me. After working with Stef for only 2 months I lost a total of 5 pounds and more importantly, 7 inches. I have increased my strength and endurance by following her workout routine and eating, what feels like, 24/7. I’m looking forward to continuing my routines with Stef and seeing even more results. Probably one of the best things about the online routine is that you never have to conform to anyone’s schedule but your own.
